COLIN J MORRIS writes, records, produces and performs music for film, TV, advertising and multimedia.
As well as scoring the IFTA shortlisted movie Eamon, which was co-written with Miriam Ingram. Colin has recently returned to writing music for commercials. Some of his past work in this field can be found here.
Colin records from The Green Room in Greystones Studios, Co Wicklow, alongside producer Ingmar Kiang . Past clients include Sinead O'Connor, Kila, Carol Keogh, Redwoods, The Tightrope Walkers and many more.
In addition to studio based recording, Colin is highly experienced in location recording. He recorded all of the live acts for the award winning Under Ether on RTÉ, including Villagers, James Vincent McMorrow, And So I Watch You From Afar, Local Natives, Warpaint, Brendan Benson, PVT, We Cut Corners, Gomez and many others. Colin was also the location recording engineer and audio post production engineer on RTÉ's New Comedy Awards.
He has also played with Sunbear, Ruby Tailights, Miriam Ingram, Carol Keogh, Nina Hynes, Ann Scott and Valerie Francis and is currently working on a new release, due out at the end of 2016.
